Trip #2:
I did 6 transactions today. Three of those transactions were on the self checkout lane, because apparently the coupon machines there only, are spitting out extra $1.50/3 Tombstone pizza Qs, which I was stocking up on. I hate self checkouts with a passion, though, so I bought the pizzas first, took them out to the truck and then came back in for the rest of my shopping. SCO and Kelly F do NOT get along!! They had to void my first order and I moved to a different lane, since the coupon printer was low on ink, and I was going to be getting a whole bunch of Qs from it.

Transaction #1:
6 Tombstone pizzas- $2.25 each
-$3 OYNO Q

Cost before Qs and sales: $30
My OOP: $10.50, plus I earned $4 and $4 OYNO

2 Fiber One yogurt 4 packs- $.17 $.75/1 IP
3 Oscar Mayer Bacon- $2.69 each
1 gal milk- $2.38
1 doz eggs- $1
-$4 OYNO
-$1 OYNO

Cost before Qs and sales: $19.51
My OOP: $6.79, plus I earned $4 OYNO
Total savings: $12.72 (65.2%)

Transaction #5:
7 Lunchable subs- FREE $.75/1 IP
16 Del Monte canned fruit (this gets us through winter when produce is terrible)- $.75 each $1/4 IP (No longer available)
-$4 OYNO
-$2 OYNO

Cost before Qs and sales: $42.00
My OOP: $6.00, plus I earned $4 OYNO
Total savings: $36.00 (85.71%)

Transaction #6:
9 Contadina tomato sauce- FREE $.75/3 IP
Maxwell House coffee- $2.69
1 Lunchable sub- FREE $.75/1 IP

Target trip (79.48% savings)

I apologize for being a little out of touch with blogging lately. My kids have kept me running in circles and I've been too exhausted to do little more than plan for my shopping trips and check email. I promise to try to be better!! A big THANK YOU to Kelly W for holding down the fort and continuing to post awesome deals.

Anyway, a few days ago, I needed to go to Target for some deals and to get Easter basket stuff. I did everything in one transaction, although next time I think I'll split it up, so I can keep track of my grocery spending easier.

Here is what I got and the final price (after Qs and sales. I provided links to available IPs):
2 Kraft shredded cheese- $.59 each 2x$1/1 Target Q and $1.50/2 IP (no longer available)
6 Johnson & Johnson Buddies soap- -$.18 (she didn't adjust down the coupon, so I got overage) Check smartsource, to see if it is still available
6 travel size Right Guard deodorants- $.06 total (these should have been free, but her math was wrong when she adjusted down, but the overage from the J&J covered it, so I kept my mouth shut) $2/2 IP
2 Joy dishwashing liquid- $.59 each
1 Up & Up diaper rash creams- $1.12 each
-$.10 for using 2 reuseable shopping bags
Total OOP (before tax, since I bought other things)=$4.38 (79.48% savings)

CVS trip (68.09% savings)

They were out of the Crest Pro Health Enamel Shield, which is on sale this week, but they let me substitute the Crest Pro Health Night instead, and I still got the ECBs that I would have gotten with the Enamel Shield. This just goes to show, it doesn't hurt to ask if they have more of something! Had I not been able to do the sub, my whole transaction would have been messed up. I love my CVS so far!

Here's what I got:

Free floss

Click here for $1 off Reach floss. That will make them FREE at Walmart and Target. I did this yesterday, and I was so mad when I got home and saw on my receipt that the cashier only scanned 3 of my coupons. So I ended up paying for 1 floss and got 3 free. Oh well, another lesson learned to WATCH YOUR CASHIER LIKE A HAWK!!!!

Rite Aid trip (85.62% savings)

I was so mad that on the first day of the sale, they were wiped out of the Dove Men's Care body wash! That was a really good MM! I will possibly make another trip back later this week, after Thursday, since that is when they said they are getting their next truck. I am definitely up against at least one other couponer, because I typically need to get there on the first day of the sale to get what I want before it is all gone. It was also nice because when I walked in, I saw my 2 favorite cashiers, so I knew that I wouldn't have a problem when checking out.

Here is what I got:
Pampers jumbo pack diapers ($8.99-$1.50 MFQ-$2 SCR #42= $5.49)
Nyquil ($3.99-$1.50 MFQ-$1 RA Q-$1 SCR #15= $.49)
2 GE Reveal light bulb, 4 pks ($2.50+$2.50-$.40 VV Q-$.40 VV Q-$1 IP-$2 SCR #6= $1.20)
Gilette Satin Care shave gel ($2.99-$.55 MFQ-$1 SCR #53= $1.44)
2 Stayfree pads, 32 ct ($1.99+$1.99-$1 IP-$1 IP-$1 VV Q-$1 VV Q= -$.02)
1 greeting card (a filler) ($.99)
-$5/$25 IP
=$5.95 OOP (85.62%)

Also, by purchasing the Gilette shave gel, Pampers and Nyquil, that brought me over the $50 limit for the ongoing SCR #551 (which ends this week), when you buy participating P&G products. I will receive a $15 Visa card!
