CVS trip (saved 82.36%)

I really ticked off the cashier today, because I didn't realize that I was at $35 pre coupons (and I had a $5/$40). So I had her hold my transaction while I ran around the store trying to find $5 worth of items so that I could use my Q. It all worked out and I think I did pretty good, especially since I had to do a little thinking on the fly.

(Prices are after Qs and sales)

1 Huggies wipes: FREE
1 Pampers Cruisers: $3.49 (plus I earned $1 ECB)
2 Nivea body wash: 1 was free and the other was $3.99
2 Nivea lip care: 1 was free and the other was $2.99 (and from all the Nivea, I earned $5 ECB)
1 Colgate Pro Clinical toothpaste: $2.99 (plus I earned $2 ECB)
1 All small and mighty detergent (filler): $3.50
2 pkgs Taster's Choice instant coffee sticks (filler): $.12 each
1 gal milk (filler): $2.09
-$4.98 ECB
-$2.00 ECB

Total before Qs and sales: $52.32
My total OOP: $9.23, plus I earned $9 ECB: Cruisers, Nivea, Colgate and Green Tag)
Total savings: $43.09 (82.36%)

  1. Kel, how did you get the Pampers for $3.49? I thought they were on sale for $8.49! Tell me your secret! :)

  2. There was a $3 CVS Q in the May issue of Parents and a $2 MFQ from 3/14 RP (I think). Stack together and voila. Also receive $1 ECB. :o)
