Giant Eagle trip (average of 63.39% savings)

I went shopping early this week, because I needed to get a few supplies for Cameron's party on Saturday. I went through self checkout since I had 4 transactions to use all my OYNO Q's (they only allow 1 per transaction) and I hadn't yet determined how to divide it up. I thought it would be less stressful, but I ended up stressing myself out more than anything. This was my second experience with self checkout and it was not good, just like the first time. I think I'll stick with a human cashier from now on. It didn't like some of my Q's and it wouldn't accept my OYNO Q's, so I practically had a cashier standing next to me, scanning her card to override everything, so I pretty much defeated the purpose of using the self checkout. I also forgot to scan a pack of blueberries with my Cheerios (the blueberries were BOGO and an extra $1 off if you bought Cheerios). I was going to do this twice, since I was already planning on getting Cheerios and blueberries. I only remembered to do it once. Oh well. That's what happens when I get flustered! I still did pretty darn good!!

Why so many Wheat Thins and Triscuits?? There is a rebate through Nabisco to receive $10 back when you buy 10 Nabisco products. I waited until there was an awesome sale (4/$7) and I had Qs for $1/1 (become a fan of Wheat Thins on FB) and $2/2 (You can only get this good of a deal if you have 2 computers or more, to print the Qs multiple times). I had to buy them in sets of 4 for the sale at GE (it was one of those sales with an instant $1 off when you buy all 4, otherwise they would have been 4/$8). So for 10, I paid a total of $7.50-$10 rebate= -$2.50. That is a $2.50 MM!!
