CVS trip 1/10/10- Saved 51%

I had a pretty good trip to CVS today. My goal was cheap diapers and I got them just as I had planned! Here's how I worked my deals today:

Transaction #1
*I started with $6.50 in ECBs*
I also had a $5/$20 CVS coupon

I bought:
GE Reveal Bulbs- $3 ($1 MFQ)
TG Lee Milk- $3.19 (Received $0.50 ECB)
Skintimate shave gel 2 pk- $5.00 (Received $1 ECB)
Cheez-It twin pk- $5.99 ($1 MFQ & received $3 ECB)
Nature Valley Granola bars twin pk- $6.99 ($0.40 MFQ & received $3 ECB)
Dawn Dish detergent twin pk $6.00 ($0.25 MFQ & received $2 ECB)
1 Mountain Dew throwback- $1.49

Total: $18.32 OOP & received $9.50 ECBs

Transaction #2
*I started with $9.50 ECBs from transaction #1 and another $5/$20 CVS coupon*

I bought:
1 82 count size 4 box Pampers Baby Dry diapers- $22.99

Total after coupons and ECBs: $10.73 OOP!!
That is 13 cents per diaper...WAHOO!!!!

**Remember when using a $5/$20 coupon to give those FIRST in your coupon stack!

Total for both transactions before sales & coupons would have been $59.78.
I spent a total of $29.05 OOP.
I saved over $30! That's a 51% savings :-)

  1. I am really enjoying reading about y'all's savings. I try to do a few coupons here and there, but haven't gotten into the major savings club yet! I don't normally get the paper, but do you think that it's worth it for the coupons inside?
